The family of Jean Conley wishes to thank all our friends and relatives whether you made a donation, sent a floral tribute or sent a card, came to visitation or attended the funeral, sent food to our homes or held us in your thoughts at this difficult time. Our Mom truly touched a lot of people! Thank you to Dr. Annis for his many years of medical attention given to Mom. Thank you also to the second-floor staff at Listowel Hospital, to Drs. Latuskie and Edmunds and all the staff at Caressant Care Retirement and Nursing Homes, she loved all of you. You certainly did all within your power to help Mom’s stay to be as comfortable as possible. To Rev. Catherine Campbell for her kind words at the funeral and to organist Madeline and piper Donald for musical tributes, thank you. Thank you to the ladies of Melville Presbyterian Church for the delicious lunch. To Shannon and Shirley for their eulogies to Nana, to all our grandsons and granddaughters, you would have made Nana proud. Our sincere thank you to Jim and Judy of Peebles Funeral Home for your professional help, it made the planning of Mom’s final journey so much easier. – The Conley, Clarke and Rathwell Families. 21-1 -------------------------------------------- GOWING. It has been a long road but I am finally headed in the right direction since my hip surgery last fall. I want to express many thanks to my family for all their TLC and all the extra travelling to Barrie. A big thank you to my relatives and friends for their deeds of kindness, food, flowers, cards, phone calls and visits. Thanks to St. John’s Anglican Church for the lovely fruit basket. My special gratitude to the Community Nurses, even the one who came by snowmobile in a snowstorm in February, and to the Home Care Ladies. I will remember you all. – Betty. 21-1 -------------------------------------------- MONTGOMERY. Brad, Maureen Montgomery and family would like to sincerely thank the Blyth Fire Department for their valiant efforts and professionalism and for rescuing our pet Clyde from the fire. We would also like to thank all of our neighbours, friends and families who came to our need with donations, words of kindness and support. A special thanks to Brenda Burkholder and Colin Stanway of Victim Services for their help those first hours during and after the fire. Thanks again. – The Montgomery family. 21-1p -------------------------------------------- STOREY. A sincere thank you to all our friends and neighbours. We are just amazed at how quick everyone was to lend a helping hand and at how many. It was just like an old- fashioned barn raising, men coming with hammers (chainsaws) and women coming with food. Unbelievable! We are indebted to each and every one of you. Thank you just doesn’t seem like enough but it’s a start and when the dust settles we’ll try to make things right. Our hearts go out to all of you. Thanks again. – Orville, Lila and family. 21-1 COMMUNITY BREAKFAST, Blyth Memorial Hall, Sunday, May 27, 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Sponsored by Blyth Legion and Ladies Auxiliary.
