Over 130 guests enjoyed their
time at Bernice Anderson’s home
celebrating her 90th birthday on
Saturday, May 5. The The come-
and-go afternoon offered musical
entertainment, reminiscences and
lots of cake and ice-cream.
Each visit was rewarded with a
warm welcome and a broad smile
from the enthusiastic birthday girl.
Bernice did her job of looking
beautiful (and young and radiant)
very well, however I would offer acongratulations to daughter Nancyand son-in-law Greg Park who didan outstanding job of hosting anexceptionally successful day.Tom Lawlor, formerly of RR3,Auburn and currently of Clinton willbe celebrating 90 years on May 19.Charlotte Worsell and CassandraIrvin are vacationing in Mexico for

Angie Love in Leon. While there,
they will spent a few days in Puerta
Vallarta also.
Lots of treasure hunters were out
Saturday morning looking for a
bargain. Wayne and I did our best to
keep the local economy going. The
village was buzzing with like-
minded shoppers.
One of our first stops of course
was the Lions’ breakfast where we
fuelled up for the day. Good thing
too as I had many miles to go.
