Help is on the way The Grey firefighters met for their annual CPR recertification last week and were trained to use the department’s brand new defibrillator. Mike Alexander stepped up to perform CPR while the rest of the firefighters observed as the machine was used for the first time. The defibrillator directs the firefighter through voice commands, instructing him when to perform CPR, when to leave the patient alone for monitoring and when to administer a shock.
