sympathies as well to grandson John
and family and the extended family.
Congratulations to Jeff and Erin
Robinson on the birth of their third
daughter Ava Rose. Big sisters
Grace and Emma are happy
especially with Nana Cooper there
to help and visit.
Grandparents are Bob and Rose
Robinson of Walton.
The Girl Guides of Brussels spent
two days at the Walton Hall for a
spring break retreat. They slept over
one night and spent days crafting,
singing and working on Guiding
activities.
A correction on the
Horbanuik/Baxter wedding story.
The bride’s name is Erica and my
apologies for substituting her sister’s
name.
Fast healing wishes go out to
Carmen Bernard who suffered a
fracture of the lower leg. Crutches
work fine in good weather but the
snow makes things a little trickier.
Duff’s United Church is having a
family games night this Saturday
night and everyone is welcome to
attend. The fun begins at 7 p.m.
Birthdays celebrated this past
week include Cassandra Banks, Ray
Huether Jr., Celeste Ryan, Art
McNaughton, Carol Henderson,
Keith Wilbee, Jack Nelemans and
Cathy Regele.
Celebrating an anniversary were
Murray and Sherry McCall.
