He was in his 72nd year.

Ted and Margaret Reid.
Friends were received at the Blyth
Visitation Centre of the Falconer
Funeral Homes, 407 Queen St.,
Blyth on Friday, Feb. 23 from 12
p.m. until the time of the funeral
service at 2 p.m.
Pastor Ernest Dow officiated.
Spring interment will be in Burns
Cemetery, Hullett Twp.

She was 86.
The former Elda Ballagh, was the
beloved wife of the late John
Norman who predeceased her in
2002. She was the dear mother of
Evelyn and Leslie Caldwell of RR3,
Blyth, Mary Lewis of London and
one son James Norman. She was the
mother-in-law of Shirley Norman of
Wingham. Elda was the sister of
Wallace and Ruth Ballagh of
Teeswater and Dora Alton of
Lucknow. She was the sister-in-law
of Bernice Higgins of Wingham and
Jean Press of Belmore. Elda wasalso survived by 12 grandchildrenand four great-grandchildren.Her sons Wallace (2001) andBruce (1996) predeceased her.
The funeral service was at
McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham
on Wednesday at 2 p.m. with one
hour of visitation prior to the
service. Rev. Bernard Skelding
officiated.
Interment will be in Wingham
Cemetery.
Memorial donations to Wingham
and District Hospital, the Alzheimer
Society or the Diabetes Association
would be appreciated as expressions
of sympathy.

1951, George was in his 57th year.
George was the dear son of
George E. Cardiff Sr. of Dungannon
and the late Rhea Johnston. He was
the dear father of Sherry, Josh and
Kyle. George was the dear brother of
Ken Cardiff of Stratford, Charles
Cardiff of Waterloo, Audrey Dewys
and husband Joe of RR1, St. Paul,
Murray Cardiff of Waterford,
Georgina “Annie” Reynolds of
Dungannon and Agnes Brindley and
husband Gord of RR3, Lucknow. He
will also be missed by his nieces andnephews.George was predeceased by hisbrothers Donald and Tom and asister Mary.
Friends were received by the
family two hours prior to the funeral
service being at the Schimanski
Family Funeral Home, Brussels, on
Sunday, Feb. 25 at 2 p.m. with Rev.
Tom Wilson of St. John’s Anglican
Church officiating.
Spring burial will be in Brussels
Cemetery.
