Mayor Dorothy Kelly, who attended 36 council meetings and 72 other meetings, had the highest remuneration and expenses for the year at $18,828.57. Included in this was $7,486.68 as an honorarium, $10,384.81 for remuneration and $1,957 for convention and meeting expenses. She attended one convention. Councillor Jim Nelemans had remuneration and expenses of $16,823.13 while attending 36 regular council meetings and 56 other meetings. He received $3,822.40 as an honorarium plus $8,431.21 remuneration and $4,569 in meeting and convention expenses for one convention. Deputy-mayor Bill Thompson, who attended 36 council meetings and 38 additional meetings chalked up the next highest total at $14,080.74. This included an honorarium of $4,772.80, remuneration of $6,930.32 and meeting and convention expenses of $2,427. He attended one convention. Councillor Edna McLellan had remuneration and expenses of $12,699.51 for attending 31 regular meetings, 29 other meetings and two conventions. She received an honorarium of $3,732.36, remuneration of $5,743.19 and meeting and convention expenses of $3,224. Former councillor Neil Warwick attended 35 regular meetings, 25 other meetings and one convention and received $11,305.22 in remuneration and expenses. He received an honorarium of $3,421.33 and other remunera- tion of $5,646.94 plus meeting and convention expenses of $1,916. Councillor Lynn Hoy received $10,792.21 in remuneration and expenses for attending 33 regular meetings plus 35 other meetings. He did not attend any conven- tions. His honorarium was $3,732.36 and he received $6,630.88 in other remuneration. His expenses were $429. Councillor Paul Gowing had remuneration and expenses of $10,034.41 for attending 33 regular meetings and 29 other meetings. He did not attend a conference. His honorarium was $3,732.36 and his remuneration was $6,256.55. He had expenses of $45.50. Newly-elected councillor Mark Beaven attended two regular meeting and two additional meetings. He received $311.03 in honorarium and $438.49 in additional remuneration plus $50 in expenses for a total of $799.52. PAGE 20. MDL Doors values all of their employees and specifically recognizes those who have reached years of service milestones (ie. 5, 10, 15 and 20 years). The following employees were honoured for their 10 years of dedicated service to MDL Doors and each received an engraved picture frame. The employees are pictured below from left to right: Chris Smith, Krista Nesbit, Brian Klein, Mark Swart, Tom Warner, Tim McNee and Darlene Wheeler. John Hoonaard (pictured below) and Shawn Woods (missing from photo) both received an engraved plaque for their 5 years of dedicated service to MDL Doors. The owners of MDL Doors, Mervin and Tillie Lichty are grateful to all employees for their continued dedication to the Company over the years. Together we have and continue to make an impact in the Ontario market! Mervin and Tillie Lichty Steve Steiss (pictured below) received an engraved watch for his 15 years of dedicated service to MDL Doors.
