Carol Jeanette Burke
Burial took place in Gorrie cemetery
on Sunday afternoon of Carol Jeanette
Burke, 16 months old daughter of Mr,
and Mrs, Robert Burke of Listowel.
The child died in the ,Children's War
Memorial Hospital, following a short
illness, Mrs, Burke was the former
Isobel Hutchison, con. 2.
Norman, Carson received his Honor
Graduation' Diploma from Listowel
High School at their Commencement

the Presbyterian Church, Listowel.

A Canadian Friendship Carol Ser-
vice was given at the meeting of the
Woman's Missionary Society held at
the parsonage on Thursday, Dec. 4th,
when Mrs. L. Ruttan presided.
Mrs. Whitley began the program by
playing a Christmas Carol. The Call
to Worship was followed by the sing-
ing of hymn "0 Little Town of Beth-
lehem". The story of the Babe of
i Bethlehem enshrined in the Bible will
,be read this Christmas-time in one
'thousand tongues. This story was read
;in unison from Luke 2: 4-20. Mrs. R.
