Sherwood, Richard Johnston was given an acclamation a week ago -as deputy reeve. Lilac Buds In December—The re- cent mild -weather is playing queer tricks on the lilac bushes. On Tuesday, Geo: Haller brought into our office some lilac twigs on which the buds have 'become quite green.
