McKen- zie, Miss Lauretta. McBurney left last Wednesday for an extended visit to the West Coast, She will visit friends at different Points on her way. Miss Marjorie Halliday, London, visited with Mr. and Mrs, Wm. Bry- dges, Guests with Rev, and Mrs, Moores were Mr. and Mrs, John Blair of Luc- an. Mr. and Mrs. Alex Young and Jack- ie, of Lucan, visited in the village on Sunday, Miss Lorna Dunbar of Victoria Hos- pital, London, spent Thanksgiving at home, Mr, and Mrs. j.' P. Cushing, Kitch- ener, spent Sunday with Mr, and Mrs. J. Mrs. E, Hoffman, Woodbridge and Miss Bonnie Hoffman, were Thanks- giving guests of Mr. and Mrs. J. Wil- son, Mrs. Wilson and baby son, Dale Lawrence, have arrived home from the hospital at Wingham, Mr. and Mrs. John McGill have re- turned home after enjoying a two mon- th's trip to the West. Besides visiting in Alberta they went as far as the West Coast, also Okanogen Valley, where they especially enjoyed the bea- uty of the fruit trees. Mr. and Mrs. Work and June of Brussels, were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon 'Walsh. Miss June Work was guest soloist in the United Church on Sunday morning. Miss Lois Kelly was home for the Thanksgiving week-end. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Kelly and ,Clif- ford, attended the wedding of Mr. Kelly's nephew in Toronto on Tues- day: Mr. Albert Hanna of Molesworth, is spending the holiday with his son, Mr. C. W. Hanna and family. Paterson of London vis.- ited with Mr, and Mrs. Hugh Rinn. Mrs Bert ,' Vincent spent the week- end with her, sister, Mrs. Josie Cam- eron, Lucicnow. Mrs. R. J. Scott and family visited her brother in Kincardine on Sunday. Dr. and Mrs. B, J. Shumm and Mrs. H. L, Wilson of Kitchener were Thanksgiving guests with Mr. and Mrs, J. A. Wilson, Quite a number from Belgravc atten- ded the fowl supper at Salem Church. The Young People's Society of the United Church met last Friday night in the church. Miss Audrey Anderson conducted the meeting. The Scripture reading, Acts 8 : 5-13, was given by Miss Patsy Anderson and Mrs. George Michie led in prayer. Rev. Moores gave the talk on the topic.
