There was a good attendance. The meeting was opened by quiet music by Thelma Den- ney. The President gave the Call to Worship, •Gule Me 0 Thou Great Jehovah. Thelma Denny led in prayer. Doris ,Rae read a poem, "Salute to You.",,Edith Weir chose for the Scrip- ture lesson, Thessa. Chapter 4. The second hymn chosen was "On those Gloomy Hills of Darkness." Gilberta Howes had charge of the Topic, The Stewardship of Influence. Percy Paterson of Toronto, renewed old acquaintances in the village this week. Mr. Paterson is a former Blue- vale old boy.
