Thursday evening in the school room
of the Westfield church, in honour of
Mr. and Mrs. Russell Cook, newlyweds
The bride and grOom were the recip-
ients of many lovely and useful gifts.
The address was ,given by Mrs. Wm.
McVittie, who welcomed the bride to
our community and., extended best
wishes from those, preSent to the happy
couple, after the opening of the gifts,
both bride and groom thanked their
many friends for the gifts and good
wishes.
The members of the W.M.S. and
Baby Band met on Wed. afternoon
at the home of Mrs. Fred Cook. The
meeting was led by Mrs. Gordon
Smith and opened by singing "When
He Cometh." Prayer by Mrs. Gordon
Snell, scripture lesson was read
Norma Taylor. Readings .were given,
by Mrs. Jack Buchanan, Mrs. 5, L.
McDowell. The story was told to the
children by Mrs. Norman McDowell.
The chapter in the Study Book on
India was taken by Mrs. Stanley Cook.
Duet by Ruth Cook and Lois Camp-
bell. The business was conducted by
the president, Mrs. Wm. McVittie.
Scripture was read responsively from
Hebrews 12, 5-11, Roll Call was ans-
