TRADITIONALLY, Ale has always been di sari
buted in green bottles but, owing to the
present shortage of green glass, some Ale is
being bottled in white or amber bottles.'
This is a temporary measure—and does not in
any way affect the quality of the product.

on the Presbyterian circuit here on
Sunday in the absence of Rev. Mr.

A very interesting meeting of the

here was held on Wednesday last with
Greetings being brought from Auxil-

A letter of great interest was read
from Mrs. Dow, formerly of Brttceficld
and well remembered here as Miss
Helen Inglis, who now resides with her
niece, Mrs. Harris of St. Marys, tell-
ing of her continued interest, even at
the age of 88 years, in this W.M.S. of
which she was a Charter member and
of which she is now, the only living
Charter member.
MrS, Jorgensen of l3luevale, delight-
ed 'the ladies with her selections on
the cello, Mrs. iMcWhinney of Dun-

gave a very interesting address on the
work, which has been carried on dur-
ing the past sixty years, by the mein-
hers of this Church, telling of the long
walks and sacrifice of the first pion-
eers, to make this a living organization
of the Church. Mrs. Angus MacKay
of laroi, India, was mentioned as one
of the beloved missionaries who has
done splendid work in representing
this community in mission work in
