St. Helen's United Church was the
scene of an unusual Easter wedding,
when The Rev. M. G. Newton, minister
of the church, solemnized the marriage
of his daughter, Lillian Joyce, to Clay-
ton Albert Charlton, only son of Mr.

The Easter flowers of daffodils,
snapdragons and hydrangea banked the
Altar for the ceremony. Mrs, Wal-
lace Miller, organist, played time tra-
ditional wedding music. Mrs. Andrew
Gaunt was soloist, singing "I Love
You Truly" during the signing of the
register.
Given in marriage by her cousin,
Mr. Harry Hanna of . Toronto, the
bride was charmingly goyned in a
floor-length dress of ivory satin with
panel inserts of Chantilly lace, a fitted•
bodice and a sweetheart neckline. Full
length sleeves with delicate points over
the hands. Her finger-tip veil of em-
broidered net, fell gracefully from a
flowered headband. She carried a
white Bible with streamers of white
satin ribbon which held in place a rare
and beautiful (Mauve Orchid. A single
strand of matched pearls was her only
ornament.

Sister of the bride was Maid of Hon-
or, wearing a floor-length dress of Blue
Sheer with Matching headdress and
carrying an old fashioned nosegay of
