The regular monthly meeting of the Brick Church W.M.S. was held on Dec, 11th, at the home of Mrs. Frank Thompson, The meeting opened with a prayer read by the leader, Mrs. Chas. Shiell, this was followed by a carol, '0 Little Town of Bethlehem". The scripture reading was given by Mrs. Allan Pattison. The program con- sisted of a Christmas Candlelight Ser- vice. Four members of the group in char- ge, namely, Mrs. M. McRitchie, .Doro- thy Pattison, Mrs, L. Wightman, Mrs. Chas. Shiell were dressed in saris to represent India. They, in turn, lighted their candles and they presented a pic- ture of present conditions in India, and a pictureof what they believed our church and country could do to bright. en their future, These were followed by Mrs. G.
