Harvest Home Service Held
A beautiful Thanksgiving service was
held in St, Stephens Church on Sun-
day when the annual "Harvest Home"
was celebrated with a good number
attending. The newly decorated church
looked lovely with' its trimming of
fresh flowers, fruits, vegetables, grain
and trailing vine.
Rev, R. S. Jones, of Durham, a, for-,
mer beloved rector of the parcsh,
the special minister for the occasiifit,;;
and gave a very effective sermon on
Thanksgiving, showing that the thank-
ful person is of necessity a religious
one. He depicted the many, many
blessings and miracles which have hap-
pened during the past few years
we have had to be thankful for, aalff
Which show that "all things work to-
gether for good to them that love God"
The choir also rendered a beautiful an-
-them of praise and thanks to God.

Shur-Gain Essential
Minerals For Hogs
Throughout many sections of Ontario, where farming has been carried on in-
tensively for many years, mineral deficiencies are becoming apparent in live-
stock. Particularly in hogs, mineral deficiencies are indicated by the following
symptoms:
1. Chewing boards, bones, rubbish.
2. Stiffness, rickets, emaciation,' poor growth.
3. Pigs born dead, hairless or weak.
4. Paleness and difficulty in breathing.
5. General unthriftiness.
SHUR-GAIN Essential Minerals for Hogs contain Calcium and Phosphorus,
Iodine, Iron and Salt, in the correct proportions to eliminate the danger of de-
ficiency diseases, and correct these symptons, should they show up.
