Institntediad Fine Meeting
The citizenship meeting of the W,
was held Tuesday, August 21st, at the
home of Mrs, C, Coultes, with a
splendid attendance of 29, Convenor
of the program was Mrs, J. Wheeler.
The president presided and opened the
Meeting with the usual exercises, Roll
call of war work was taken by the
seeretary, A farewell letter was read
from Miss Mary Clai•lse, retiring
superintendent of W, L's who voiced
appreciation of the co-operation she
had received. It was decided to pur-
chase 25 copies of the new song sheets,
As the school fair falls on the regular
meeting day it , was decided to hold
the meeting on Thursday, September
20. Roll call—an important act of
courtesy, was well responded to.
The guest speaker was Miss .Bar-
bara Michie, who spoke on the "De-
velopment of a Democratic World."
A quizz on "Etiquette" was led by
Mrs. J. Wheeler. Community singing
was enjoyed. Miss Ferrol Higgins re-
viewed chapters 5, 6, 7 of the Health
Book.
The meeting closed with the Ode.
Sewing was distributed. Lunch was
served by the hostesses, assisted by
Mrs. R. J. MacKenzie, Mrs, T. B.
Johnson and Mrs. N. Walsh,
Mrs. Clayton Logan left Tuesday
for her home in Moosejaw, Sask, ac-
companied by Mrs. Lloyd Hutton and
Mrs. Jas. Leitch, who are stopping off
in Toronto.
Miss Stella Nethery is returning to
Port Reeve, Sask., on Tuesday to as-.
sume her duties.
Rev. and Mrs. Dunlop have returned
after spending holidays at Ottawa.
