The various classes now eligible for
immediate discharge under the new
regulations include the following:
1. Personnel on compassionate leave
or compassionate farm leave on V-J
day, if on such continuous leave with-

ority point score but in effecting the
discharge care will be taken to avoid
withdrawing the individual from his
job at an inopportune time,
2, Personnel for whom no suitable
military employment can be found be-

where the profile is not low enough
for discharge as physically unfit.
3. Personnel with a demobilization
priority point score of 150, computed
as of March 31, 1945.
4. Personnel who have been wound-
ed.
5. Repatriated prisoners of war.
6. Personnel who have served in the
First Great War.
7. Personnel who have attained their
42nd birthday.
S. Personnel under 19 as of V-J
day.
9, Personnel who have been so re-
cently enlisted into the army that they
still are in district depots awaiting for-
warding to the Vernon Training Bri-
gade,

1. A worker now frozen in his job

permission after September 17, provid-
ing he gives seven days' notice,

3. The freezing of men in agricul-
ture and the Government's power to

inated about Noveniber 15.

salary payable, providing they list .
their vacancies with ,ernployrnent of-:
fices and direct applicants . to apply
through those offices.

may not leave a job without permis-
