Ottawa,—The Health and, Welfare
Department is making headway with
plans for the payment of family al-,

ment of the allowances scheduled to
begin next July 1, the department is
attempting to complete plans whereby
the: administration of allowances would
be carried on from the captials of each
of the AIM provinces rather than from
Ottawa.
