Gifts to Hospital
Recently Mr. W. A, Galbraith, on
behalf of the estate of John Cornyn
Currie, presented to the hospital a
suction machine for use in the oper-

respect and will be a valuable addition
to the operating room equipment.
Another item that he presented in a
like manner was a very fine micro,.
scope which was badly needed. This
instrument is one of the best matte and
will serve a most useful purpose.
Recently the Beard of Managers of
the Hosettal installed a new light in
the labour room. This lamp is similiag
in construction to the new operating
light which was purchased about a
year ago. It differs in size, being
smaller, but is portable and when

Catch
' During the past couple of years
pigeons have made their home in the
corner of the roof of the Stainton

away to make a large hole and crawled
inside the roof and captured the young
and lifted" the eggs. The chief was
notified of the destruction that these
lads were doing to the brick work of
the Stainton store and the roof of the
adjoining building and. on Tuesday a

A FRONT, PAGE
EDITORIAL
By the time we publish our next
issue the voting for the Ontario elec-
tion will be over. It is the duty of
all who are entitled to vote to cast
their ballot. Although. this has been
a short campaign the voting public
should be familiar , with issues of the
day and the program of the various
parties, If anyone has not yet 'be-
come familiar with this phase of the
election there is still time to do so.
We feel it is our duty to urge all
citizens to vote. Carelessness in this
regard in other countries has had very
bad results. A small proportions of
Germans wanted Hitler as their leader
and fewer still were in favour of Mus-
solini taking over the reins in Italy.
We do not feel at present that we need
fear any such event in tins country,
but if people would vote 100 per cent
at an times we are quite satisfied we
would have better government
throughout the years to come.
Your duty on Wednesday next week
is to vote.
