Harold Bridge and Henry Exel retain their seats on the PUC. In Morris Township Bill Elston is re- elected reeve. In Grey Township, three new councillors--Charles Thomas, Ed Krauter and le Pettapiece are elected. Wreaths are laid at the Brussels Remembrance Day service. NOVEMBER 22, 1978 Windows have rocks thrown through them at the Brussels Inn. The amount of food -donated and served by the Belmore Catering Tent and the Brussels, Morris and Grey Catering Tent is reported. John Van Vliet and Jan Van Vliet and William Turnbull win prizes for their swine at the Royal Winter ' Fair in Toronto. NOVEMBER 29,1978 Emma Bird of R.R.2 Blyth tells Morris Council to clean up her damaged land after Blyth Creek drain cleaning. Bylaws are passed on the Pletch subdivision in Belgrave. The Fair Board learns that over $3,000 in prizes were given out at the 1978 Brussels Fall Fair. DECEMBER 6, 1978 _ Brussels council members are assigned to roads, recreation, fire and property committees. Sheila Richards of R.R.3 Brussels is elected president of the Blyth 'Centre for the Arts. The Ministry of Transpor- tation and Communication (MTC) tells Morris council a, bridge covering the access road to the IPM site would be too expensive. Charges fly at Huron bean board meeting. DECEMBER 13, 1978 At its final dance, The Brussels, Morris and Grey catering tent Committee from the 1PM gives its financial report arid says over $4,000 has been raised for the Brussels Morris and Grey Community Centre.
