seeking a court injunction to tear the building down.
Mary Jarvis who lives in the Stretton building next
door said the collapse sounded like thunder. Another
tenant thought a furnace had blown up. Phone
service was off for two days to several area homes.
THE ROOF FELL IN—The roof of the vacant ,
. building, owned by Ball Auctions, tell down
under a load of wet snow Thursday about 11 p.m. A side
wall also fell and-three phone poles were taken out as

Lodge Rooms,

district lodges were read

various donations. Articles

Plans were made to send
cards and boxes to shut-ins.
The Christmas Party is on
Monday night at 8 p.rn. when
Friendship sisters will be
revealed and an exchange of
gifts for members will take

A social time with lunch
concluded the meeting and
degree practice took place
