Dr. Diamond will be the guest speaker at Knox Presbyterian Church on Sunday, Dec. 10. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Henning entertained their family on Sunday to celebrate December birthdays. Those present were Miss Mildred Henning, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Elliott, Mr. and Mrs. Marty Cretier, Amy-Jo and Janell, Mr. and, Mrs. Harold Elliott, 'Mr. ,and Mrs. Joe Walker, Marie, Sheila and Kevin. High prizes were won by Dorothy McGee and Jim Wilson'at the euchre party in the Bluevale Community Hall; Thursday night which was in charge of Mr. and Mrs. Wes Paulin and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Walker. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Timm won the low prizes. Mrs. Burns Moffatt held the lucky card. The next euchre party will be Dec. 14. RIGHT ON PARTY FOOD Transportation , and Communications Minister James Sndw has announced ;there will be no increase in motor vehicle licence fees for the 1979 licensing year. Red renewal stickers will on sale at 318 outlets throughout the province on Friday December 1. The fee schedule will remain at $30 for a four- cylinder car; $45 for a six- cylinder car and $60 for eight-cylinder automobiles with an engine displacement of less than 6.5 litres. Eight-cylinders cars with an engine displacement of more than 6. 5 litres, regis- tered after December 1, 1977 will cost the owner $80, Motorcycle registration fees are $20. The 1978 registration fees for privately-owned passen- ger cars and motorcycles in the northern half of the province will remain at $10. For vehicle registration purposes, "Northern Ont- ario" is that part of the province consisting of the territorial districts of Algoma Cochrane, Kenora, Mani- toulin, Parry Sound, Rainy River, Sudbury, Thunder I Bay, Timiskaming and the portion of Nipissing lying north and west of Algonquin Park, This year, decorate ,for Christmas with simple, inex- pensive decorations. The 1979 registration fee for mopeds and trailers remains at $5, as does the $10 fee for snowmobiles and historic vehicles. These fees are the same in northern arid southern Ontario.
