Mrs. Jie Walker 357-3588 The Presbyterian. WMS met at the home of Mrs, Keith Humphrey with an attendance of 13. The president, Mrs. Glenn. Galley, used prosaic and poetic • form of a Remem- brance Day theme as a call to worship. This was followed by a hymn and Mrs. Joe Walker read scripture from 1 John 4: 6-21. Mrs. Keith Moffatt led in prayers. Mrs. Alba Mundell made use of both studies 4 and 5 of the Local Church in God's Mission in presenting the topic. It was pointed out that members must learn to adopt humbler life-styles and per- sonal attitudes, as well as a new willingness to learn from others, regardless of their ethnic backgrounds, in order to keep churches and their various organizations alive and growing. The Christian Church must understand and act on eco- nomics, and human rights, they influence the existence of all people in the world. Surely the church should take a defence of the rights of Native people, should re- spond to the needs of those around us, and should con- tribute more liberally to its niissionary work abroad to generate some quality of love, understanding, and generosity to those in under- developed countries with their diverse internal prob- lems, members heard.
