Have you ever had the
thought that modern kitch-
ens and larders are stocked
with too many conveniences?
All kinds of electrical gad-
gets from stove to blenders
and mixers; ready-mixes,
instant this and that; meals
all-ready to pop into the Oven
and serve to make things
easier. How , many ladies
have lost, or never developed
their touch in preparing a
good' .old-fashioned home
cooked' meal?

the tap when you want a

container of drinking water
in your refrigerator.

in your electric dishwasher.
It is said to make a better job
than the scouring powder.
Use as much poN7vder in the
tub as you do in your

what was formeily Frank's
Auto Body and what is now
known as McNeil's Auto
Body. Don took over the
business after the death of
Frank Cobby.
Don built the car from
bits and pieces collected
from around his home and
other places. He bought the
body part from the old car
Flea Market here last sum-
mer, the wheels at a junk-
yard, the fenders at a flea
market in Barrie and the
steering wheel from Mel
Jermyn of RR2, Bluevale.
Right now he's only using
the car for advertising pur-
poses but thinks he'll pro-
bably end up showing it in
parades Nice the Santa Claus
parade, etc.
Don has been a member of
the Antique Car Club for
about 10 years now but says
he was raised around cars
and antique cars all of his
life. He still has a Model A
he learned to drive before he
was 10 years old.
Restoring old cars is part
job and part hobby. He has
a car in the shop right now,
that is a 1929 Oakland owned
by Greg SMith of Atwood.
Brussels is Don's hometown
but he started out his ap-
prenticeship in Listowel
working at S and. K Esso.
From there he went to Carl'
Auto Body in Brussels, work-
ed there for six years, then
came to Frank's Auto Body.
He has also spent a year at
John Brown Motors in Gerrie
and had restored quite a few
cars for them.

has three children just comp-

The best skin care is plenty
of pure soap and water
followed by a thorough rins-
ing. The rinsing is very
important. Your skin , like
the clothes you wash, must
be rinsed of every particle of Alpha hears
soap to be really clean.
