The market at Brussels Stockyards on Friday met a strong demand on choice quality cattle with some steels and heifers being discounted because of over- finish, Pigs traded at. lower prices, There were 950 cattle and 2033 pigs on offer. Choice Steers - 67.00 to e9.00 with sales to 70.00. Good SteerS 65.00 to 67.00. Three Steers consigned by Carl Israel Farms Ltd. weighing 1093 lbs. sold for 70,00 with their offering of 14 steers averaging 1130 lbs. selling for an overall price of 69.26: One steer consigned by G. & R Feedlots of Brussels weighed 1240 lbs: and sold for 70.00. Three steers consigned by Robt. McDonald, of R.R.2, Brussels, weighing 1200 lbs. sold for 69.30 with his offering of 22 steers av- eraging 1206 lbs. selling for an overall price of 67.65.
