Recently, 13 ladies, of the
Cranbrook W,I, went on
car tour to Blyth where a visit
to Cook's Upholstery and
The Old Mill was enjoyed by
all. Following lunch at the
Walton Inn the business
meeting was conducted.
Some highlights include:
Mrs. Van Donkersgoed, Mrs.
Veitch. Mrs. Copley, and
Miss McNab volunteered to
assist Mrs. Baker for the
'committee for the Dec.
meeting.
Mrs. Workman volunte-
ered to donate a plant for the
stall at the Area Convention
on Oct. 30 & 31. Mrs. Veitch
is to be voting delegate.
Mrs. Veitch made a motion
'hat all bills from the History
fit be paid.
A report from the Fall
Rally at Londesboro was
iv e 4-4 by Mrs. Veitch.
Mrs. Conley reported that
the W.I. signs at Cranbi )01i
had been refinished.
Mrs. Workman moved that
Sunshine, be given $10.00 to
replenish her kitty.
The Sacrament of Baptism
was observed in Knox
Church on Sunday morning
when the minister, Dr. Ross.
Thomson baptized the fol-
lowing; Andrew James
Stuart Smith, infant son of
Mr. and ,Mr.s Geo. Smith,
Jennifer Maria, Jolanda Lori,
and Darryl John children of
Mr. and Mrs. John Vanass,
Carrie Lynn, Earl Frederich

Grisdale, and Shelley Marie
Strickler daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Lorne Strickler.

All this assistance is in
existence to make the life of
an ill person problem-free,
but the Town and Country
Homemakers also have a
problem! h-4 order to continue
thk service to the people of
Huron County, they need
funds,
On November 41h and
18t.h, rummage sales will be
held in Wingham and Clinton
respectively. They not only
need donations towards their
sales .(there will . be a pre-
serves and pickle table, a
plant table and-hopefully all
the usual articles donated to.
rummage sales such as furni-
ture, pottery, etc., etc.), but
the Town and Country
Homemakers will also Le-
quire attendance at the sales
themselves!

The fourth meeting of the
Cranbrook Metric Munchers
took place at the home of the
Ellen Lefore at 7:30 p.m.
an October 16. All members
answered the roll call. '
