For placing ninth he gets a $25 cash award. Greg just started plowing this spring and had previous- ly plowed at the Huron. County competition in order to complete 4-H. assign- ment, Brian McGavin, of R.R.4-, Walton, won - $175 in competitions at the Inter- national Plowing Match in. Wingham. This is the thrid IPM that Brian has competed in, and this year he was the youngest competitor in the 15 to 18 year old class. Although the final official results are still being tabu- lated, Brian said he will finish either third or fourth among the competitors. Earlier this year, Brian • was the reserve junior champion . in -the Huron County Plowing Match. He is also a member of the North Huron Sodbusters 4-H Club. Brian plows with the two- furrow competitive plow. This year he also lent his tractor and coached the mayors entered in the mayors' competition on the final day of the International Plowing Match. Brian's high school' principal, Bruce Shaw, mayor of Exeter, was the top plowman among the .• mayors who entered the competition.
