Everybody interest- ed is welcome to attend. Personals Mrs. Marjorie Rock and daughter. Jeanette took a bus trip to Nashville on the Thanksgiving weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Murray Mills and family and her mother, Mrs. Coombs of Brantford visited with Mr. and Mrs. Earl Mills a week a ago. 4-H Meetings for Former residents are married 45 years Mr. and Mrs. Albert Clarke, former residents of the Walton area, were pleasantly surprised on Sunday, Oct. 1st when nearly 100 relatives, neighbours and friends called to celebrate their 45th wedding anniversary. Mr. and Mrs. Clarke were married at the United Church manse in Corunna on Oct. 4th, 1933. They • settled on the' groom's farm on the boundary east of Walton and farmed there until retiring to Atwood in Nov. 1970, Mrs. Clarke was the former Olive Williamson, eldest daughter of the late ,Mr. ,and Mrs. Thomas Wil- liamson of Grey and Mr. Clarke is the only son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Archibald Clarke. They have one daughter Mrs. Albert (Mona) Hutton of Listowel, one son Bert of Atwood,. :also 'two grandchildren, Debbie and Jamie Hutton. The second meeting was held at the • same home on Monday evening, October 2 with all members present, opening with the 4-H pledge. Names were discussed for the club, but left till next meeting. Achievement Day will be held on' Saturday,. December 2 in the, morning only. The main topic was "What is in, it for me?" all about breakfast and brunches. Energy squares were made and a yogurt 'loaf was' sampled by the girls at the close of the meeting.
