Today a new hall stands on a new site beside Knox l'ivsbytcria 11 Church , the only church left in Cranbrook. At one time there were foto churches here. • •• Although many of the buildings of Cranbrook have faded except as a memory olsomebody's past, it is still a nice place to go for a drive or to stop and have a chat with some or the people who live there and who arc keeping Cranbrook alive through their memories. BURIED IN BILLS? The first community centre in Cranbrook was built in 1930 but had to be torn down later because of its unsafe condition. The present centre which is situated beside Knox Presbyterian Church was built in 1950. Knox Presbyterian Church is the only church left in Cranbrook. At one time there were four.
