flowers; second for a macrame wall-hanging;

article from broomstick lace; and first for a
large article from broomstick lace. Donna
Knight placed first and Betty Knight placed
second for an original picture done in a
medium other than oil. Alfred Knight of
Brussels got first for six colored snapshots -
and.first for four seasons snapShots as well'
as second for a hanging container for flowerS
and second for an article of needlepoint and
third in the special for senior citizens class of
any favorite craft or hobby Jack Higgins• of
RR 5, Brussels got second for a painting
done on barn board, Janet Vcitch got first
for a macrame wall-hanging and first for an.
article of needlepoint; Jane McPOnald, got
second. for an arrangement from driftwood
and Mrs. Eldon Wilscin got first for a small
article made from broomstick lace and
second for • a large. article made from
broomstick lace. Pat Wright and Marie
Campbell of Bluevale won the majority of
prizes in liquid embroidery.
Group displays in the Crystal Palace
included one from Cranbrook W. I.; Majestic
W. E.; Walton W. I.; Walton 17 Boundary
Unit U.C.W.
Evening Unit-Brussels; 4-H Group Display;
Walton 1 and the Walton Happy Hocrs.
Mrs. Eldon Wilson of Brussels walked
away with the highest points in classes 1-8
and the most point's in clasSes 1-31 in the
Home. Crafts section of the Brussels fair. She
'got eight firsts, eight seconds and four
thirds. Mrs. Lorne Draper of Brussels got
seven firsts and three second's; Mrs. Marie
Campbell got two firsts and one second;
Mrs. Lulu Kerr • got one second; Donna
Knight got two firsts and two seconds; Janet
Veitch got one third and one first; Mrs,
Arthur McIntyre got two firsts, one second.
and one third; Mrs, Robert McMichael of RR
1, Walton got three firsts, three seconds and
WO thirds; Mrs. George Hcimstra got two
firsts,one second and four thirds; Jane De
Vries got one second and one' third; Mrs.
Gerald Miller got one first and one third;
Jane McDonald got four firsts, three seconds
and three thirds; Carol Boneshansker of RR
1, Ethel who got one third; Mrs. Mel Jacklin
who got one third; Pat Wright who got one
first; Beth Earl of Ethel \+f() got one third;
Winnie Connaboy who got one second; and
Alfred Knight who got one first and two
seconds and Helen Adams who got one first,
two seconds and three thirds.
