Lorne Dennis, Scaforth, welcon the group. Mrs. Zerbach, past Board 'Member of U.S.C.O listed the new Provincial executive. She also donated prizes to the Oldest ladies - Mrs. Mary Ross, Clinton, and Mrs. Cox, Bayfield who were tied. Tap dancers were Angela Andressi, Debbie. Flynn, Laurie Bell, Sandra and. Susan, Hulley, the three McQuaid sisters; the latter -also played violin selections. Readings were given by Mrs. Mabel Scott and Ed Martin. While supper was being • prepared the•pipeys serenaded. Mr. Baker thanked the hosts, guests, all who took part. in the program and all who came. A bountiful supper was enjoyed by all. Mr., and Mrs. Dick. Dennis and family of Barrie spent the week at the, home of Harvey Dennis last week, Mr. and Mrs. Murray Huether recently returned from a tour of the Maritime provinces and Newfound- land. Huronview Auxiliary has decided to change the date of the Fall Bake Sale and Tea to Wednesday, October 11 from October 4. Officers at Wingham Detachment con- ducted 30 investigations. Twelve charges were laid under the Highway traffic act aid 27 warnings were is- sued. , Six charges were laid under the liquor licence act. Three charges were laid under the criminal code. During the week, there were four motor vehicle collisions, which caused an estimated $4,100.00 in pro- perty damage. There were no injuries.'
