Perth Board -of Ed increases
car expense allowance
Trustees and administra- .
tive staff who drive their own
vehicles on Perth County.
Board of Education business
were granted an increase in
their car expense allowance
last week.
The board vOted itself an
allowance of 20 cents per
mile for the first 10,000 miles
of travelling per calendar
year, and 14 cents per mile
for distances in excess of
that.
A motion to raise the
allowance was passed, with
Trustees Betty _McMillan, Ed
Dearing, Ronald Boyce and
McTavish voting against it.
