THE BRUSSELS POST, MAX 17! 1978
Relatives of Kathy Brenner,
bride elect of May 27 gathered at
the homd of Mrs. Russell Jervis,
awn of the groom on May 7.
A short program including a
piano solo, accord inn solo, step
dancing, reading and a mock
wedding were enjoyed by all.
The following address was read
by Mrs. Michael McGrath, Aunt
of the groom.
May the twenty-seventh,
The year was 1950;
Bob and Isobel thought
Their wedding day was just
nifty.
They settled down to make a
home,
So sure they'd never need to
roam;
Their first born a little girl
With rosy cheeks and a little
curl,
Joan, Brenda, Mary and Donna
Karen and Kathryn Ann;
Six little girls
That made Bob the only man:
Now.to you Kathy, we will get
To remember just a little bit;
December kith in. Brussels yOu
were born,
We heard it was a bright and
sunny morn. •
But you 'werent't a baby too
long,
For you soon grew up very
strong;
Then off to Bluevale School you
went,
Where most of your earlier
years were spent.
But more learning you wanted
to get,
For on being a nurse your heart
you had set;
So on to Listowel High School
you aid go,
For a diploma you were very
proud to show.
Then to Victoria Hospital you
went where you gained new
friends
And to receive your degree to
be an R.N.;
With Maurice you went to the
graduation dance,
We heard it was the start of a
big romance.
After awhile of steady dating.
Maurice decided not to keep
you waiting;
Finally lie said "Will you marry
me" ,
And on April 9, 1977, you
accepted his ring happily:
May 27th at four your vows you
will say,
It being your patents twenty.
eighth wedding day;
At yout home the ceremony will

We sincerely hope the stiti will
shine brightly.
Now Maurice with Kathy, his
new bride
In London plans to reside;
May the gifts we now present
to you,
Have a useful place in your
home so new.

with all our love and Best
Wishes.
