Presenting them with their awards is Bea McClenaghan, home economist with the Ontario Ministry of Food and Agriculture in Clinton. The awards were presented when Ethel held a 4-H Achievement Day on Saturday. MUTTER THE BRUSSELS POST, MAX 17! 1978 Relatives of Kathy Brenner, bride elect of May 27 gathered at the homd of Mrs. Russell Jervis, awn of the groom on May 7. A short program including a piano solo, accord inn solo, step dancing, reading and a mock wedding were enjoyed by all. The following address was read by Mrs. Michael McGrath, Aunt of the groom. May the twenty-seventh, The year was 1950; Bob and Isobel thought Their wedding day was just nifty. They settled down to make a home, So sure they'd never need to roam; Their first born a little girl With rosy cheeks and a little curl, Joan, Brenda, Mary and Donna Karen and Kathryn Ann; Six little girls That made Bob the only man: Now.to you Kathy, we will get To remember just a little bit; December kith in. Brussels yOu were born, We heard it was a bright and sunny morn. • But you 'werent't a baby too long, For you soon grew up very strong; Then off to Bluevale School you went, Where most of your earlier years were spent. But more learning you wanted to get, For on being a nurse your heart you had set; So on to Listowel High School you aid go, For a diploma you were very proud to show. Then to Victoria Hospital you went where you gained new friends And to receive your degree to be an R.N.; With Maurice you went to the graduation dance, We heard it was the start of a big romance. After awhile of steady dating. Maurice decided not to keep you waiting; Finally lie said "Will you marry me" , And on April 9, 1977, you accepted his ring happily: May 27th at four your vows you will say, It being your patents twenty. eighth wedding day; At yout home the ceremony will by We sincerely hope the stiti will shine brightly. Now Maurice with Kathy, his new bride In London plans to reside; May the gifts we now present to you, Have a useful place in your home so new.
