Church formed a choir fel` the Stinclay evening song service led

Molly Cox, Norman Speir and Cecil,Skinner provided the
Old-Tyme music for Monday's program, he Goderich Township
Women's Institute Volunteers assisted with the activities,
Doug MeNall and Dave Sherman from the Kirk ton area
entertained with a musical program On Family Night. The
entertainers provided their own vital' accompaniment and sang
se\ erol familiar songs and requests, ,including tru, Myth
Ceniebnial song. Miss Pearl Gidley expressed the appreciation
The Belgrave Women's Institute were hosts for the April
Birthday Party on Wednesday afternoon. Mrs, Mary Wightmon
was f7:mcce for the party and introduced the following progr4070 ,
There were musical numbers by Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Edgar,
step-dancing by Colleen Edgar. vocal solos by Clarke Johnston,
piano solos by Steve Coultes, and Donna Higgins. readings by
Mrs. Scott, Mrs. Nicholson, Paul and Mark Coultes. Mrs. Glenn
Coultes led a sing-along accompanied at the piano' by, Mrs,
Norman Coultes. The celebrants were presented with a lovely
carnation by the Institute and lunch was served by the ladies,
Mrs. Cornish, who celebrated her eighty-eighth birthday on
April 18. thanked all those who had helped with the party.

with Mr. and. Mrs, Earl Dunn.
Kevin, little son of Mr. and
Mrs. Earl Grisdale is a patient in
Listowel memorial Hospital.
This community was saddened
to learn of the death of Mrs.
Norman (Kaye) Pfeifer which took
place on April 17 in Victoria
Hosipital London. Sincere
sympathy is extended to her
daughter (Elizabeth) Mrs. Terry
Newbigging, Listowel, and other
relatives. The late Mrs. Pfeifer
had been a rural mail carrier on
R.R.113, Brussels for many years.
Mr. and Mrs. Earl Dunn visited
on Sunday with Mr. and Mrs.
Jack McGee at Dungannon.
Following the regular morning
service in Knox Church on
Sunday Mrs, MacEngel was
presented with a painting by Mrs.
John A, Perrie as a token of
appreciation for her years of
MRS .KATHLEEN PFEIFER
Kathleen. Pfeifer, beloved
wife of the late Norman Pfeifer, of
Brussels, formerly of Cranbrook,
died in Victoria Hospital, London,
on Monday, April 17th, 1978.
The former Kathleen
Broadway, she had served the
public as rural mail courier for
R.R.3, Brussels for a number of
years.
Service, Mrs. Engel has been
secretary-treasurer for twenty
three years and Gary Morrison is
the one appointed to this work.
Mrs. E. Waddell, Fullarton, and
Mrs. E, Roger, Atwood, visited
with. Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred.
Strickler, Mr. and. Mrs. Lorne
Ferguson, Bright, also were
recent visitors at the same home.

She is .survived by one
daughter, Mrs. Terry (Elizabeth)
Newbigging of Listowel, and two
grandchildren.
Her husband and two sisters
predeceased her.
Funeral and committal service
were held at the M.L.Watts
Funeral Home, Brussels at 2:00
P.M. on Wednesday, April 19
Interment in Woodland
Cemetery, Mitchell.
