Melville Presbyterian Church on

they would accept the 71/2 percent
deficit for operating Senior
Citizen apartments in the amount
of $6055.03. Brussels. had
previously decided to stick to
their original arrangements with

At six o'clock a bountiful meal
was served to 70 guests. Chris
King gave a speech as a tribute to
his grandpa and a plaque from
the Province of Ontario,
commemorating the occasion,
Morris and Grey but decided
different arrangements-had to be
made with the operating deficit
because n ow Morris has 25 per
cent of the people in the building,
Grey has 25 per cent and Brussels
has 50 per cent.
Morris had previously only paid
15 per cent of the deficit while
Grey had paid 25 per cent and
Brussels had paid 60 per cent.
Council decided to have a
meeting with Morris Council
since their percentage was going
to have to be raised pow that they
have more people ip the building.
They also decided that documents
showing each municipalities
share of the 7 and 1/2 per .cent
operating deficit should be sent to
the Morris and Grey councils.

A highlight of the occasion was
the presence of Bert and Helen
Henderson, Mr. King's nephew
and his wife from Edmonton, who
came a week previous to help
celebrate the happy event,
Bert. is one of five children of
Alma , Mr. King's only sister,
and the late Harvey Henderson.
She resides in Edmonton.
Out of town guests • attending

Paisley, London, Galt, Grand
Rapids, Mich., Tillsonburg.
Delhi, Welland, Elmwood,
Cookstown and Bavfield.
Vancouver visited, with her pa-
rents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl. Watson
last week, also visiting At, the
same home was Mrs.. Margeurite

Mrs. Earl Watson was a patient
in the Wingham hospital for a few
days, then to London on a week
ago Monday for tests, returning
home with the. family,

home of her parents, Mr. and
Mrs, Ron Bennett.

The Walton ladies arc quilting
again this week at the Dave
Watson home, last week they
completed a Colonial Lady quilt at
the Thamer home.

4-H Meeting Personals
The fifth meeting of Walton I Ruth Thamer, Laura. Dennis
"Leisure Lovers" was held on and Mary Watson were among
Saturday with 7 members going' the ones from Seaforth High
on a hike back to Shor,treed's School that spent nine days in
sugar bush with their leaders. Hawaii during the holiday break.
