on Wednesday night for the
second game with Brussels •
picking up a 6-0 victory. Goals
went to Kevin McArter with 2,

each. Assists went to Tim Fritz,
David Wheeler, Kevin McArter.
Also on Wednesday night the
Novice team began their final
series of playoffs here at home
with a real thriller. With 21
seconds remaining in the, game,
Brussels tied the score to go into
overtime: They managed to get
the lead and keep it scoring two
unanswered goals in the 10
minute overtime • period,
defeating Seaforth 5-3. Scoring
for Brussels was Dean Wheeler
with 3 goals, Marty Rutledge 2.
Assists went to Dwayne Achilles,
Marty Rutledge, Dean Nicholson,
Dean Wheeler.
On • Thursday night the
Peewees went to Monkton to start
their round-robin consolation
series. They were defeated 9-4.

On Friday night, the Elma-
Logan team returned to Brussels
and won a good game of hockey
3-1. Brussels' only goal was
scored by Rob Cardiff from Dean
Rutledge.
The midgets played right after
the Peewees and rather won by a
landslide. The score was 20-1
over Clifford. Brian Deitner
scored 6 goals, Scott Wheeler 4,
Paul Bragg 3, Tim Prior 2, Rob

On Saturday the Atom team
played their first game of their
own D category in the local Atom
tournament. They were victorious
over Ripley 4-1. Brussels goals
were shared by Kevin McArter,
Tim Fritz, Kevin Johnston, Marty
Rutledge. Assists went to Rick
Knight and Kevin Johnston.
Their second game of the
tournament will be this Saturday
morning at 9:15 against Mildmay:
