Ripley came (Mt victorious defeating • Brussels 5-3. Kevin McArter scored 2 goals, Marty Rutledge 1 goal for the home team with assists going to Dean Wheeler, Kevin Johnston, "Mike. Smith. The second game of the series was played in Brussels on Wednesday with the home team coming back and scoring an 8-1 victory. Kevin McArter led the way with 3 goals, Tim Fritz 2, Marty Rutledge 2, Sean. Kieffer 1 goal. Assists went to Rick Knight, Dean Wheeler, Tim Fritz, Kevin McArter. Brussels won the flip for the third game and played it at home on Friday. They won th series by defeating Ripley 6-0. Goals were scored by Kevin McArter with 4 goals and Tim Fritz 2. Assists went to Rick Knight, Wayne Wheeler, and Sean Kieffer. Brussels now meets Drayton' for the Championship series. The Novice team eliminated Milverton on Wednesday night in their playoff series in three games straight. It' was Brussels 3, Milverton 1. Brussels' three goals were scored by Dean Wheelr with an' assist from Marty Rutledge. The Bantam team kept busy last week with two exhibition games. On Thursday night, they wereiniWingham where they were defeated Goals were scored by Ken COusins 2, Paul Johnston 2; Kevin Deitner 1. Assists went to Leslie Black, Stewart Cardiff, Terry Glanville. On Friday night they travelled to Howick where they were defeated 10-7. Brian Tenpas scored 2 goals, Ken Cousins, Terry Glanville, Mike Watson, Paul Johnston. Assists went to Steve Knight, Mike Watson, Paul Johnston, Ken Cousins. The Atom team filled in for a withdrawn team in the local Atom Tournament. They , participated in the *first game of the morning against Listowel.. Brussels scored their second goals early int.the third period to lead 2-0. Listowel came back• to"score two goals and with only .50 seconds temaining tiStowel scored the winning goal: 'fhb Fritz and Kevin McArter scored the 'Brussels' goals with Rick Knight getting assists on both goals. Their second game of the day was against! Goderich whom they defeated 6-2. Kevin McArter scored 4 goals and. Jeff McGavin 2 goals. Assists went to Tim Fritz and Rich Knight.
