with Mr. and Mrs. J. L.
McCuteheon and family on the
weekend.
Mr. and Mrs. David Kennedy
and sons, Michael and Mark, of
Mississauga, spent Friday night
and Saturday with his mother and
visited with his father, Roy
Kennedy, in Wingham and
District Hospital.

flying
club :to
expand
The 1978 executive of the
Brussels Flying Club was elected
last week at a meeting held at the
home of Jas. Armstrong. The
executive is: President, Jas.
Armstrong; Vice President.
Graeme Craig; Secretary
Treasurer, Ken Campbell. •
The members discussed the
purchase of a Cessna 150 for the
use of the chib members and a
motion was made by Gerrit Van
Keulen that prices be looked into
and brought to the next meeting.

shown by Sam Sweeney.
The regular montly meeting
will be held on the second
Thursday of each month. All
interested people in .the
community are welcome to attend
these meeting's. Lunch was
served by the hostess, Mrs.
Armstrong.
Saddle Club
plans 2nd
poker rally
Seaforth, & District Saddle Club
held its first general meeting for
1978, February 5, ,
The first trail ride will be held
April 16 at Doug and Norma.
Riley's. The second ride is to be
held at Graham and JoAnne
Sholdice's on May 7.
me 2nd. Annual Poker Rally on
Horseback will be held Sunday,
April 23 at the Hullett Conserva-
tion area. Entry fee is $3.00 per
hand. There is a trophy to the
rider with the highest poker hand,
and cash prizes of $25,115, $10
and $5.00. For more information
call either 523-4275 or 482-9157.
Committees were organized for
the club dance, which will be held
ISaturday, May 20 at the Brussels
Arena. Jim Me"dd's orchestra will
provide the music. Tickets are
$5.00 per person, and will be
available shortly from any
executive member..
