Wingham and Godefich first closed their doOrs on Thursday, followed on Friday by Clinton and Seaforth. Bremner tops in Canadian ski tour Murray Bremner of Brussels captured the highest possible award for a person entering the cross-country ski tour from Lachute, Quebec, to Ottawa. He completed the 160 kin, the full course this week. The other members of the Brussels ski club also made a fine showing in the event in which 3,700 entrants from all over the world competed. Greg Cowan, who had competed in the first 120 mile race in Icentennial year, &Mud he did not have the stamina to quite complete the course this time. He did however, manage 100 km as did his brother Ted. His wife Trudy Cowan endured the grueling course for 50 km. The distance of the course is roughly that . from Toronto to Ottawa.
