There were, 18 members and 2 guests present. Mrs. Ha McLarty presented the nominating committee report: which was accepted on a motion :if Mrs. A. Bremner and Mrs. I. Evans. Officers elected are: Past President - Mrs, F. Dunk; President - Mrs. Doug Hemingway; 1st Vice - Mrs. A. McCall; 2nd. Vice - Mr . A. Knight; Selc.-Treas. Mrs. E, Cudmore. Assi't. Sec.Treas. Mrs'. Ila MOLarty. Pianist - Mrs. W. Kerr, Ass't. Mrs. E. Cunning- ham; Auditors, Mrs. John Speir, Mrs. John Kelly. Directors - Mrs. C. Hemingway, Mrs. Jas. M air, Mrs. D. Machan, Mrs. E. Cunningham, Mrs. S. Alexander, Mrs. H. Dobson, Miss L. Lucas, Mrs. A. Crocker, Mrs. G. Gibson, Mrs. N. Reid. Mrs. John Speir gave the auditors report. The members discussed the flower seeds the society would give and calendulas were chosen. ' Mrs. W. Kerr played two piano solos and Mrs, Cudmore thanked her and presented a gift. Mrs. D. Hemingway introduced the guest speaker, Mrs. S. Sweeney who showed slides of Cuba. Mrs. Hemingway thanked Mrs. Sweeney and on behalf of the members presented gift. Mrs. • J. Speir won the door prize.
