On-Tuesday night. the Midget
team travelled to. Zurich in a.
rather tough game of hockey. The
game ended in a 4-4 tie. Goal
scorers were Doug Cousins, Paul
Bragg, Rob Demaray, Briap
Wittier, Assists went to Scott
Wheeler, John Richmond, Doug
Cousins, Tim. Prior, Brian Deitner
Paul Bragg.
On Wednesday night, the local
arena was kept busy with 3 game
of hockey. Listowel novice were in
town for an early game when they
defeated the home ,tenth
Dean Wheeler led the way with 4
goals, Marty Rutledge 2 goals.
Assists went to Bobby Vance,
Bruce Johnston, and Marty
Rutledge.
The next game was an
exhibition game with the
wingham Atoms playing the local
team,. Brussels defeated
Wingham 6-1, Brussels goals
were, , scored by Dean Wheeler
with 2, singles went to Kevin
Johnston, Kevin McArter. Tim
Fritz, Rick Knight. Assists went.
to David Wheeler, Rick Knight
and Tim Fritz.
In. the 8;30 game, Zurich'
Bantams were in town to play the
Bantam. team. Zurich scored 6
goals in the first period and 1 in.
the second. Brussels managed to
score 1 goal in the second and
came back to score 5 goals in the
third and needed just I More to
