Stormy weather on Monday
night cancelled the out-of-town
games for the Atom and Bantam
teams but they got their home
games played on Wednesday
night. The Atom team had no
trouble in defeatiq Huron Park
12-0. Rich Knight scored 3 goals,
Tim Fritz 3, David Wheeler 2,
Marty Rutledge 2, Kevin
Johnston 1, Dean Wheclr 1.
Assists went to Wayne Wheeler,
Mike Vader, Sean Kieffer, Kevin
Johnston, Rich 'Knight, Dean
Wheeler, Marty Rutledge.
The :Bantams were at home to
Blyth who defeated them 10-5.
Ken Cousins scored 2 goals, Ken
Higgins, Brian Tenpas, Terry
Glanville 1 each. Assists went to

Les Black,' Ken Higgins.
On Friday the Peewees were at
home to Huron Park, whom they
defeated 7 - 3.
The Midgets were away in
Blyth for a good game of 'hoCkey,
Brussels led 1 - 0 at the end of the
first period of hockey. At the end
of the second period the score was
tied 2-20 with the final score also a
tie at.5-5. Doug Cousins and Scott .
Wheeler each scored 2 goals with
Brian Deitner getting the single.
Assists went to Paul .Bragg, Tim
Prior, Bruce Armstrong, Brian
Deitner and Doug Cousins.
Saturday and Sunday found the
Midgets travelling to Huron Park
for a game each day. On Saturday
they won by a 4 - 1 score. Paul
Bragg scored -2 ,goals with John
Richmond and Scott Wheeler
scoring singles. Assists went to
Bruce Armstrong, Scott Wheeler
and Paul Bragg. On Sunday they
defeated the same team 5 - 3.
Scott Wheeler was the leader of
the day scoring all 5 goals.

The Novice team was at home
on. Saturday night to the visiting
Milverton squad. Brussels picked
up another shut-out by winning 7

white fluffy stuff but for those,
who braved the weather, and
came to watch the Interthediates
play hockey, enjoyed a good game
of hockey.
The home town squad was
trailing 3 - 1 to Ripley at the, end
of the first period but rallied in
the second period to score 7
unanswered goals. Ripley "scored
the only goal in the third period in
the last minute of play with our
goalie Henry Ole' chouski laying
hurt in the goal crease after
getting hit on the knee by a hard
shot. The final score was Brussels
8 - Ripley 4. A good game fellows.

scoring the hat trick, Jerry
Wheeler scored 2 goals, Murray
Lowe, Bob McDonald & Bob
Rowe scored singles. Assists
