"All About Winter" was then
prsented by grades one - two, The
senior choir followed with
"Jingle Bell Rock" and "Frosty
the Snowman" . Grade 2 - 3 then
presented an operetta entitled
"Santa's New Look". A French
carol was sung by Grade 3.
The audience then enjoyed the
Glee Club singing of "Coine ye
Season's Greetings". , "How to
Have a Merry Christmas " and
La N. uit de Noel were presented
by grade 4 -5 . Grades 6 - 7 then
made their second appearance of
the night. Grade 5 - 6
demonstrated' Christmas fitness.
The singing talents of the
Boy". The Junior Class presented primary choir were then enjoyed.

Christmas" on Sunday evening in
Knox United Church, Belgrave.
Mrs. William. Coultes and Miss
Janice Coultes invited all to learn
the risks of Christmas.
Misses Sbeila Anderson,
Melanie Scoff °and Andrea
Coultes led the group from the
one side of the wall which
represented our ignorance, fear
or selfishness to the side of the
wall representing "Christ's
Life". Karen Coultes was the
voice from the Bible. •
The poem "Christmas Risk"
was read by Marion Tay for and
Janet McIntosh _led id prayer.
Candlelighters were Meribeth
Scott, Elizabeth Brydges and
Nancy Moore.

A lighted • Christmas tree,
poinsettias and candelabra
added to the beauty of the
sanctuary in Knox United
Church, Belgrave as a large
congregation of Calvin-Brick and
Knox United Church members
gathered for the Christmas
service.
Following the call to worship by
Rev. John t. Roberts the service
of carols interspersed with
Scripture • les'sons continued
unannounced.
The lessons relevant to the
service were read by Lorne
Campbell, Mrs. George. McGee,
Mrs.J ohn Roberts, Mrs. Clifton
Walsh, Howard Morton, Mrs.
Kenneth Mason and Ross
Procter.
The Senior choir contributed
two numbers: "Carol Sweetly
Carol" and "Shepherds in the
Field 'Ab iding". The Junior
member chose to sing "Little
Baby Jest's" and "AwaY in a
Manger" accompanied by Miss
Alison Roberts at the organ.
The East Wawatiosh Public
School Christmas concert was
held on the night of December 15
at the school., A large turnout'
flied the auditorium with
everyone enjoying the various
talents,.
The kindergartens started the
concert with a play on " How
They felt, about Christnias".

School Christmas Concert was
held Friday, Dec. 23 at the
Women's Institute Hall, Belgrave
with Rev'. John G. Roberts
presiding. A large crowd was in
attendance.
The program opened with
songs by the Sunday School
chorus accompanied by Joanne
Coultes. Ruth Higgins played
several numbers on the piano
and this was followed by songs by
the Beginners Class. Mark
Coultes stole the show with a
recit ation "When I was a Little
village as operators of the new
groceteria.The Taylors are former
residents of the Belgrave area.
