MRS. WILLIAM MILLER
Elsie Jane Miller died Nov. 22
at the Wingham General
hospital.
She was born in Howick
Township, the daughter of
George and Sarah Doubledee.
She is survived by her husband
William of R.R.3, Brussels and a
family of 5 children; Winnifred
(Mrs. R. Schlveter) Cambridge;
Ray of Cambridge; Lena (Mrs. R.
White). Georgetown; Joyce (Mrs.
L.Cooper),Exeter and Ge•rlact. of
R.R.3, • Brussels .Also
surviving are 19 grandchildren; 2
great-grandchildren; sisters,
Mrs. Janet Harding of Fordwich
and Mrs. Lena Narrie of Toronto.
She was predeceased by one
sister, Mrs. Minnie Wray and her
twin brother Fred of Howick
Township. ,
Funeral service was held on
Miller and Murray Schlvester of
Cambridge; Randy and Rodney
White Georgetown and grand-
son-in-law Don Treibner of
Exeter.
Interment was in Brussels
Cemetery.
JOHN M. LOWRY
John McGregor Lowry of
Edmonton, Alberta, died
suddenly in San Fancisco,
California, November 18th, while
he and his wife were on a trip in
the Southern States.
A former resident of Brussels,
he was the son of the late Mr. and
Mrs. Walter Lowry of Brussels. he
was a veteran of W.W.II and
served overseas with the Royal
Hamilton Regiment. After his
return to Canada he was with the
Airforce from 1953 to 1958.
He is survived by his first wife,
the former Doris Jewell of
Brussels, and his wife of
Edmonton; two daughters, t Carol
Lamarche of Montreal and Sandra
Tout of Edmonton; one son, Bill
of Comax, B.C. who is at present
serving with the Peace • Corp. in
Egypt,, one brother, McCurdy of
Florida and 10 grandchildren.
Cremation took place in San
Francisco.
