the weekend at his home here.
Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Perrie were
in Niagara Falls and Rochester
last week then to the International
Flowing Match at Kingston.
Mr. and Mrs. Larry Duncan,
Brett and Ryan from Broadview,
Sask., spent the month of
September visiting relatives and
friends in the area.

MR. and MRS. JOHN McNABB
—Mr. John McNabb was born in
McKillop Twp. He moved to Grey
Twp. when about 10 years old.
About another 5 years hence he
moved to lot 16 con. 13 of Grey
where he spent the remainder of
his life. He married Mary McNair
who had been born on lot 26 on
the 16 con. of Grey. Six children
were born to them. Two' of his
daughters still reside on the old
farm. Jack was active in
municipal politics. He was Reeve
of Grey for many years. They
were members of the Cranbrook
Presbyterian Church and their'
resting place is the Cranbrook
Cemetery.
MR. and MRS. WM.H.STILES —
Bill Stiles was born in Wingham.
He came to Brussels at an early
age. He was a veteran of the first
world war. He married Sarah
Speir from Gorrie. They lived for
a time in the old Terrace. They)
went to the Canadian west for a
fewyears. When they returned to
Brussels, Mr. Stiles was a mail
carrier for many years. Fourteen
children were born to them. They
lived for many years at lot 381
Elizabeth Street where Merle
Freeman n ow resides. They were
members of the Brussels United
Church and are buried in the
Brussels Cemetery.
Corrections brought to our
attention to date -- Mr. Edward
Bryans Sr. lived on lot 12, Con. 2
Grey Twp., not Con. 3:
Mr, Gordon Knight was born in
Petrolia where his father carried
on a harness business before
coming to Grey Twp. in 1899.
Mr. • and Mrs. ,James
McFadzean had one daughter.
