Public School. This year there are
119 pupils compared to 128 last
year.

Duff's United Church will liold
their Anniversary Services, on
Sunday, Sept. 17 with Rev)'
Robert Roberts, EgmondVille, as
guest spealter. The Boundary and
17th unit is to look after flowers.
Any one having flowers is to take
them to the church Saturday.
World Wide Communion is on
October 2.
The Huron-Perth Presbyterial
will be held at Walton Church on
Sept. 27 when the ladies of the
U.C.W. will serve a noon lunch.
For the Fowl Supper to be held
the first Wednesday in Novem-
ber, it was voted to set the price
at $4. for Adults and $2. for
children, 12 and under. Supper
will be served from 3:30 - 8 p.m.
Suppers to be picked up for
shutlins only.
The East Huron Regional
meeting will be held, on October
25 at Ontario United Church
beginning at 7:30 p.m.
A bale is to be packed with
good articles left at the church by
the first, week in October.
It was decided to have a Pot
Luck Supper again this year for
the December meeting. The
executive are to bring ideas to the
meeting in October to plan next
year's program.

David Malwain of Seaforth
visited on the weekend with Jim
Fritz.
Any girl who will be 12 by the
first of Sept. interested in taking
the 4-H' fall project, "Featuring
Fruit" is. to get in touch with
either Margaret Shortreed or Lin
Steffler.
Visitors with Mrs. Jean Broad-
foot on Saturday were Mrs. Edna
McDonald, "brussels, in the even-
ing, Mr. and Mrs. John Hender-
son, Seaforth.
On Sunday, she was visited by
Mr. and Mrs. William Halpenny
of Lake Port, California and Mrs.
Fern Patterson of Seaforth,

Mrs. Emerson Durst of
Seaforth will be guest speaker
and demonstrate flower arrange-
inents at the September meeting
next Wednesday evening.
Mrs. Trevor Smith and Mrs.
Ron Bennett conveners of the
Family and Consumers Affairs
will have charge of program. Roll
call "What I have left undone to
get here." Hostesses are Mrs.
Don Liphard, Mrs. Keith Rock
and Mrs. Harold Hudie.

On Wednesday evening,
September 7, the U.C.W. of
Duff's United, Walton celebrated
IS years at their regular meeting
held in the basement of the
church when 19' ladies were
present.
The Walton Unit was in 'charge
of devotions opening with singing
of hymn 386, "0 Lord of life, and
love and power." Mrs. Martin
Baan was pianist. Scriptures from
Psalm 36 and Galatians 3: 13-17
was read by Mrs. Ron Bennett.
Mrs. Herb Traviss read the
meditation on "Let us be done
'with fault finding," and Mrs.
Bennett closed this part of the
meeting with prayer.
A skit about fault finding was
put on by Mrs. Neil McGaVin,
Mrs. Martin Baan and Mrs. Rae
Houston. Then Mrs. McGavin
had groups of five formed and, conducted a buzz session.
Prior to the business, scup
cakes, with candles were lit to
celebrate the forrnation to the
h11962. Each one present
enjoyed a cup cake and a cool drink,

more would be able to come to the
ti.C.W, meetings and stressed
for everyone to read

prayer, The offering was received
