!nor hockey starts soon
its hard to believe that
summer is gone but when the
hockey information starts rolling
to, you know it has. It seems like
.11 was just yesterday that Brussels
crowds walked out the door from
a hockey game.

Monday night Sept. ,19 at 8 p.m.
in the Legion Hall here to
organize a new executive and get
the 77-78 season on its way. All
persons interested in coaching
this year must obtain a Level 1
coach's card in order to
participate. The first area clinic is

Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Gibkm
presented trophies to Jim Mair
and Marj Coultes. There were 28
players who took part in the
event. The annual meeting was
held following the Pot Luck
Supper. Jim Mair will be the 1978
Referees are also required to
obtain their cards and the
executive is hoping for a good
turnout of local persons to get
their cards. The W.0,A.A. is also
short on referees this year.
It would be too bad to have a
new arena and no referees for
hockey games. If a good number"
is interested a Level 1 clinic quay
be 'arranged by the executive.
Refresher clinics are being held
in Clinton, Mildmay and
Wingham. Lois McArter,
secretary, has a list of higher
clinics for anyone interested in
attending.
