members of the Brussels
Business Association were told at
their meeting at the Olympic
Restaurant Wednesday. But it
must be able to hire a pharmacist

Webster and member Herb
Stretton to advertise in 'a large
daily paper for a pharmacist..
"It was requested that the
name of the owner of the chain be
kept quiet," Mr. Webster toldthe
Post. "If too much is known,
speculation could cause land
prices to rise and that would risk
too much,"
In other business Mr. Webster
was asked to approach council

Vandals were at work here
again on Wednesday night. The
soft drink dispenser outside the
Texan Grill and the telephone
booth at Maitland Teleservices
Were both extensively damaged.
Mr. Copland, proprietor of the
Texan Grill, told The Post that if it
was money the miscreants were
after they got very little for he had
cleaned out the machine, Damage
at the telephone booth amounted
to $200, but as it takes several
keys to open the money depositry,
they were unable to get-at it. This
is not the first time this has
happened and Maitland' Tele-
ervices said they intend to
remove the booth. This is unfor-
tunate for it was a convenience for
the use of the public.. Novv,
because of the destructive nature
of some person, or persons, it has
to be discontinued. The Wingham
Detachment of the are i nvestigating both incidents.

The appearance of our main
street continues to improve. Quite
a number of merchants have
freshened tip their business
fronts with paint and the Law
Office of Goodall and 'Campbell is
in the process of having a new
front constructed. If some of the
vacant eyesores could be replaced
the business section would look as
good, or better, than those of
most small villages.
