Six charges were laid under the Liquor Licence Act. During the week, there were four motor vehicle collisions which caused an estimated $2500.00 in property damage and injuries to seven persons. , On Monday, August 22, Irwin W. Geiger of RR 3, Listowel was involved in a single car collison on Concession Road 6-7,. East of #12 County Road, Howick Township. The Geiger vehicle was Eastbound on 6-7 Concession road, entered the North ditch and the left rear quarter panel struck a hydro pole, then spun around. Injured as a result of this accident were Lorna M. Umphrey - of Brussels, Gary M. Larson of Listowel, Sharon L. Brown of Brussels. On Saturday, . August 27, Edward J. On Sunday August 28,' Raymond Sanderson, age 22 of Fordwich and Randall Mitchell age 17, of Gorrie, were charged with mischief under the criminal code as a result of a rampage of stop sign, yeild sign and mailbox damaging during the previous night.
