DEALER APPOINTMENT
Richard Wright
General Motors of Canada LiMited announces the appointment of
WRIGHT- TAYLOR LTD. CHEVROLET OLDSMOBILE SEAFORTH.
-This is a newly formed company which started business Aug. 15th
in the same location as our previous dealer Wright Chev. Olds. Ltd.
W.A. (Bill) Taylor will assume full dealer, general manager duties
for parts, service, and sales and Richard Wright will assume dealer ,
general sales manager responsibilities .
Bill Taylor has been an employee of General Motors for the past
20 years, during which time he held various sales service and parts
positions. The more recent being zone service manager, London
He is a licenced mechanic. A graduate of General Motors Institute,:
Flint, Michigan and in recent years he has attended automotive
management seminars at both GMI, Flint and UWO , London.
Bill, his wife Georgie and daughter Penny are planning to reside
in Seaforth in the near future. They have two other daughters .
Pam is in Houston , Texas and Patti resides in London.

A bridal shower was held on
Thursday evening, August 11 in
the basement of Knox United
Church, Belgrave for Mrs. Tom
Black Connie Kue).
After a short program of
contests and readings, corsages
were pinned on Connie, her
mother, Mrs. Michael Kue of
Rose VaLey, Sask. and her
mother-in-law Mrs. William
Black who assisted Connie in
opening her Os.
Connie thanked everyone for
the gifts and lunch was served by
the sixth line ladies.

of Toronto spent the weekend
with their aunt Mrs. Cora McGill.

Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Pickell of
Vancouver, B.C. returned home
on Friday after spending three
weeks with Mr. and Mrs.
Kenneth Wheeler.

last Friday.

attended'the wedding of Richard
McBurney to Cindy Martin on
Saturday afternoon in the St.
Marys United Church.

Mrs. Walter Scott accompanied

his home On Friday after being a
patient in War Memorial
